The March 2015 issue of HOUR Detroit Magazine has been awarded the 2015 SPJ Detroit (Society of Professional Journalists) Cover of The Year! What an honor! Hard to believe this was over a year ago already, but not too bad for my first lettering cover!

Kudos to Valerie Morgan, her team at Hour Media, and photographer Joe Vaughn, for putting together a killer cover and letting me be a part of it with my Bold Brush Script. Thank You!

But wait! There's more! We also won for the Best Magazine Spread, also from the March 2015 issue, for The Elements of Surprise spread!
